Make your own fingerprint ring at home with this design and casting kit. Unlike our other kits, these wax rings are pre-shaped and pre-sized, so there’s no carving required — you simply capture your print in the soft wax and send it back to us in the pre-paid return envelope. We’ll cast and polish your ring in our London studio, with a matte or shiny finish chosen on your return slip.

THE PROCESS

1. Carve out your design in wax or imprint if using a fingerprint kit.

2. Return it via the pre-paid envelope.

3. We cast your piece in your chosen metal and polish to your choice of finish (matte or shiny).

4. We post it back to you within 4-6 weeks.

FAQS

Do I need jewellery-making experience?
No, most of our customers are first timers. You role is to simple design and carve the form in wax – we handle the technical casting.

What if I make a mistake in the wax?
That's completely normal. Wax is forgiving – you can reshape it, smooth it, melt small sections back together or start again. If unsure you can add some extra wax to your basket.

What if I am unsure about size or style?
You size it yourself. When it comes to the width of the rings we say 3mm is for a delicate, fine jewellery stacking band, 5mm for a small signet, 8mm for a chunky band or signet.

Is this suitable as a gift?

Yes the kits are designed to be meaningful, hands-on gifts – especially for people who enjoy making something personal. You don't need to know their ring size to get started as they size it themselves.
