THE PROCESS
1. Carve your own design into the wax, or warm it and press in a fingerprint.
2. Return it to our studio in the prepaid envelope.
3. We cast it in silver or gold and polish it to a matte or shiny finish. It's back with you in 4-6 weeks.

FAQS
Do I need jewellery-making experience?
No, most of our customers are first timers. With a carving kit you shape the wax yourself. With a fingerprint kit you just warm the wax and press in a print. We handle all the casting.
What if I make a mistake in the wax?
That's completely normal. Wax is forgiving, so you can reshape it, smooth it or start again. Fingerprint kits come with two spare waxes so you can practise first, and you can add extra wax to your basket for any kit.
What if I am unsure about size or style?
You get a ring sizer with every kit. With a carving kit you size the wax yourself. With a fingerprint kit, add your size to the return slip and we'll size it for you in the studio. For width, 3mm is a fine stacking band, 5mm a small signet and 8mm a chunky band or signet.
Is this suitable as a gift?
Yes the kits are designed to be meaningful, hands-on gifts – especially for people who enjoy making something personal. You don't need to know their ring size to get started as they size it themselves.
Customs charges for international orders?
Customs and duties. For international orders we pay any import duties and taxes in advance. There is nothing to pay when your parcel arrives.
